Touring weekend at the Fat Lamb in Cumbria 29th to 31st May 2026

We intend to start the Club’s 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2026 by holding a Touring Weekend at the Fat Lamb in Cumbria, which specialises in hosting classic car club events. The dates are Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May. Scenic routes are provided by the hotel; we simply have to choose the well-mapped runs we want. This year, Singer National Car Weekend is taking place on the glorious Isle of Wight from Thurs 2nd July 2026 to Sun 5th July 2026 and is being organised by Steve Long. More details to follow:-
Rootes Heritage Day and Old Ford Rally at The British Motor Museum, Gaydon

A great opportunity for SMC members to display their cars along with those of other Rootes marques. SMC will have a club stand. If you wish to enter your car, please log on to British Motor museum website to book your entry. The entry fee automatically includes entry to the museum for driver and passengers as well as entry to the Old Ford Rally also taking place on the site that daye party
