Thursday 13th July Meet and greet at The Baskerville Hall Hotel in the evening
Friday 14th July Morning: Scenic road run. Coffee-stop somewhere. Finish at Peter and Sara’s house ’The Salt Box’, Little Merthyr, Brilley, Herefordshire, HR3 6JDAfternoon: Lunch to be delivered by outside caterer at about 1pm. There will be a marquee in the garden. The afternoon will be free. Socialise in the garden and orchard, talk sewing with Sara, or cars, etc with me, check out the DInky Toys or Hornby Dubo collection or go off and play at tourists. There will be tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits and soft drinks available all day. Bring your own alcohol and a chair.
Evening: General knowledge quiz. Bonfire. Local, very good, fish and chip van to attend at about 8.30pm. We will provide a dessert but, if anyone can bring cakes or a dessert, it would be much appreciated. The hotel is only about 10 minutes drive away.
Saturday 15th July Morning: Visit to Hereford Cathedral. Park outside the West Front (bring something to use as a drip tray). Guided tours of the cathedral and the tower for those that want them. Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Exhibition. Or look around Hereford. Afternoon: Visit to Hereford Waterworks Museum. Steam pumping engines and many other engines and artefacts. Lunch in the museum cafe.
Evening: Gala dinner at Baskerville Hall Hotel.
Sunday 16th July Scenic drive to Stokesay Castle, near Craven Arms, Ludlow, for our display day. Lunch to be provided in the cafe. Group rate for entrance (English Heritage members free) Full details and costs will be sent out nearer the time, but please book the hotel now.
