




































The Singer Motor Club is concerned with the preservation and enjoyment of all types of Singer vehicle. It aims to stimulate enthusiasm for, and interest in, the marque and to provide a service of spares and technical information that will enable owners to keep their cars in good roadworthy condition.
This year the Club is commemorating 150 years since Singer & Co was established by George Singer and his father in law James Stringer in 1875 and celebrating 90 years of the Singer Bantam.
***Singer Motor Club is delighted to announce the release of a new 262 page hardback book ‘Singer in the Nineteen Thirties’ to celebrate the 2026 50th Anniversary of the Club (formerly ASCO). The book has been edited by Barry Paine based on material from John Horne – both founding and long term members of Singer Motor Club (formerly ASCO). Having offered some pre-release copies for sale at our stand at the 2025 Classic Motor Show at NEC (at the introductory price of £35 or £32 for Singer Motor Club members), we are delighted to now offer the new book for general sale . *** The SNCW 2025 ‘West Norfolk Tour’ was successfully held from 17th to 20th July 2025 based at the Knights Hill Hotel, Kings Lynn, Norfolk and, despite the variable weather conditions, a full programme of events and activities was thoroughly enjoyed, culminating in the Sunday display day at the impressive Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens. See the July-August 2025 Mascot magazine for a write up and photos of the very enjoyable 4 day event. ***
***SNCW 2026 is being held in the glorious Isle of Wight from 2nd to 5th July based on the town of Ventnor – look out for forthcoming details here and in the Mascot magazine! ***
- March 2023 saw the publication by the club of an exciting and comprehensive new 394 page hardback book The Singer Motor Company: its History and its Vehicles. Edited by Ashley Crossland and including over 400 photographs and illustrations, the book is the collective work of a number of knowledgeable Singer enthusiasts who have been able to infuse an extensive appreciation of the vehicles and their particular attributes. The club stand was in attendance as usual at the Spring and Autumn 2025 Beaulieu International autojumbles this year and we enjoyed chatting to club members and many other Singer enthusiasts over the two days.

This month's Singer snap
John Hadfield’s 1951 4AB Roadster (in faded postcard mode) enjoying a long-abandoned stretch of the A361 near Banbury before nature completely reclaims it. Back in early 1967, John drove this same road daily (in a plucky little Fiat 600) to Export Packing Ltd at Chipping Warden airfield where he helped to pack Singers, Hillmans, Sunbeams and Humbers in c.k.d form for export inside an enormous wartime hangar.
