Guy Lovegrove is selling a 1934 Singer 9, a 1963 (A Reg) Vogue and a 1966 (D Reg) Vogue on behalf of his father Robert. The cars (see pictures below) are in Compton Martin, Somerset and Guy can be contacted on 07960 321072 or at guylovegrove1@gmail.com
UPDATE 15/11/21 – the two Vogue estates have now been sold but the 1934 Nine is still available
1934 Singer 9 – Dad bought this from a family friend about 35 years ago . He had owned it since about the 1950’s, judging by old family photos! Dad completely rebuilt the car from the chassis up, with the original Singer engine and gearbox (which includes a freewheel lever – not currently functioning) The seats have been reupholstered and the hood and tonneau cover are new. Seatbelts fitted to back and front seats and the cars fitted with an electric breaker switch. The car was running when it drove into the garage 18 months ago. I’ve turned the engine over on the starter , but not run it. The car is currently taxed until next June. We were hoping this car might go for around £20,000.

The 1963 Vogue in the garage (A reg) was Dads runabout until a couple of years ago, when he started a body restoration project on it . He has rebuilt the wheel arches and the bottom half of the bodywork , as far as i can tell. As Dementia started to take a hold he had started to work on the clutch. The slave cylinder is now in bits on his workbench! This car is currently SORN.We would take any reasonable offer for this car (£1,000 ?)

The 1966 Vogue down the garden is what I would describe as a ‘project’? I do know it has overdrive, which the one in the garage doesn’t have . If someone would like to pay £500 for it , that would be great , but ultimately I would just like to see it go to someone who wants it , rather than the scrap yard!
